Here in the old police barracks in An Fál Carrach there is a vibrant cultural, educational and heritage centre. Visitors are always very welcome and there is an interesting and informative exhibition inside about the history of the building and the local area. Our café has a fine range of tasty treats, excellent food and great coffee.

An tSean Bheairic is a language services centre for the local area and we provide a wide range of Irish language classes for the community as part of efforts to support and strengthen the Irish language in this beautiful Gaeltacht area. As well as that, we provide a full programme every year in the traditional arts and we host classes and events for young and old in sean-nós singing and dancing and storytelling. We have night classes for adults in many different subjects. We organise Féile na Sean Bheairice and Corn Éamoinn Ghráinne every year as a celebration of sean-nós singing, dancing and traditional music and every winter we host Féile Scéalaíochta na Glaise where the best of our local storytellers can be heard.
